question re a song

If I remember correctly, there was a Dylan cover by a famous female artist which was a hit either in the 70's or the 80's. It wasn't a likes of joan baez or the '60's folk singers, but a younger singer and the song was arranged in pop tempo style. Can anyone tell me the title of the song?
